PFIZER GLOBAL MANUFACTURING : SECURING INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS

Our customer, established in Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium), wanted a secured network allowing exchanges and the supervision for all automated processes of the site.

Technord executed redundant network in fibre optics across the production site, providing inter-process communication functions, man-machine interface links and comprehensive supervision. The redundancy of the system allows the controlling and monitoring of the process, even in case of failure in an optic cable.

PLCs are connected to this loop handling very diverse tasks : management of entries, of treatment and exit of matters, water, alarms, ... while data is automatically transferred to the supervision computing system that checks quality parameters and ensures traceability.

TEI was entrusted with the execution and implementation of this project as well as the drafting of specifications for all connexions on the network of future projects.
