LIXHE M.E.S. PLANT  : MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM 

While pursuing the process of totally integrating control systems, Technord Automation implements M.E.S. systems (Manufacturing Execution System) to answer the needs of its industrial customers.

CBR (Lixhe near Liège, Belgium) has entrusted Technord Automation with the implementation and development of a data collection and filtration system allowing the process ‘reporting’ with a link to the management system (SAP), namely by examining the use of energy production resources (electricity, gas, fossil energy,...).

For a given production, the system must ensure the traceability of the raw materials and other physical resources, of the output products and the follow-up of operations.

Technord Automation has elaborated an automation pilot project based on Siemens Simatic IT, an unprocessed software which adapts to the cement industry.
