Programmable controllers

On its dairy product site of Boué (in the French region of Aisne), our Nestlé customer had to cope with three problems :

  • The obsolescence of the interface between the production lines and the automation, some components even being no longer available from the initial supplier ;
  • The coexistence of a controlling process and automatic parts equipped with electrical relays ;
  • A fleet of controllers half of which were obsolete.un parc d’automates comptant pour moitié des appareils d’ancienne génération.

Technord Automation France received as a mission to entirely change the programmable controllers. The task was delicate from two points of view : the work included the revamping of the electrical part, entrusted to a partner company and it was out of the question to interrupt the operations as  Technord Automation France had not (yet) programmed cows for them to stop their production.

With their perfect knowledge of the site and mastering of the tools set up, Technord Automation France was able to succeed in the complete review of the factory, in compliance with the requirements and also thanks to the efficient partnership with the customer’s team and the partner company’s staff.
