Development methods

We use development methods with clearly identified and well-documented steps that take into account the complex combination of 3 technologies which are mechanical, electronic and software :

  • Defining the needs and expected functions of the "mechatronic" system.
  • General analysis of the hardware (mechanical and  electronic) and of the software architecture enabling the creation and steering of the desired specifications.
  • Detailed analysis by means of a 3D simulation of the mechanical specifications, using an electronic schematisation and analysis of the software functions.
  • Creation of a mechanical prototype and of an electronic board prototype as well as a PC simulation of the embedded software.
  • Test of the produced prototypes.
  • Integration of the prototypes and validation of the interfaces.
  • Compliance, that is abiding by applicable standards, and the validation of the prototype in its environment.
  • Production set-up.
