OPTIMIX

Optimix is a mixer, that supervises in an autonomous way the proper functioning of the blood collection, mixes the blood to the anticoagulant, weights automatically and stops donation when the pre-set volume has been collected.

Optimix may be combined with several added features to make both data control and reporting easier :

• The barcode reader enables the data acquisition related to the donation process in order to trace the various operations.
• Thanks to the Masterlink,  the data collected by one or more Optimix is directly transmitted  to a computerized database via a RS232 port or through a radio-frequency communication port.
• The Opti PC manages the storage and handling of data related to the blood donation (information on the collection, on the donors, on the medical staff and on the equipment used, etc…).
